Controlled subsystem

The part of the action path of a feedback control which constitutes the part of the system to be influenced according to the task (DIN 19 226).

Accordingly, the controlled subsystem is the part of the system containing the variable to be controlled. In the case of a hydraulic control circuit this places a burden on the control elementservo valve or proportional valve, the drive element, hydraulic motor or cylinder with the mechanical transfer elements (Figure R 18).
