The HAWE Barbing plant is running at full speed again

HAWE Micro Fluid in Barbing, which is mainly known for the production of hydraulic solutions for medical technology and personal restraint systems, is producing 100% and trouble-free again after a fire in June this year. The backlogs in all series products have been completely processed and new orders are scheduled as usual.

The refurbishment work, especially in production and assembly, was thus successfully completed within just under 4 months after the smouldering fire on 21.6.2020 in the incoming goods department. Smaller activities are still pending in the offices, as here the opportunity is being taken to carry out an optimisation of the office equipment and layout that has been planned for some time

The planned TÜV audit in accordance with ISO 9001 and 13485 was accepted without any deviations in the production, even after the fire. This is the success of the very good and close cooperation with the HAWE headquarters in Aschheim/Munich, external partners on site and of course the high commitment of the employees in the plant in Barbing.

Within the scope of the refurbishment, additional modernisation measures already planned were brought forward. Thus not only a reconstruction in production, assembly and quality control will be achieved, but also an improvement for the manufacture of the products.
