On 30.06.2020 the third network meeting "Zero Waste" took place. This time the participants of different industries and sizes met in virtual space. However, this did not stop the lively exchange of ideas. This time, the companies Schreiner Group GmbH & Co. KG, Kinshofer GmbH, Tikiwe, Arqum and the Environmental Cluster Bavaria were involved. A start-up was also allowed to present itself in the third meeting with an exciting solution in the field of Packaging-On-Demand.
The aim of the meeting was to present new and implemented measures, to inspire each other and to pick up on best practices. In addition, three interesting presentations on the topics of Packaging-On-Demand, public welfare economy and packaging in a closed loop rounded off the day.
The name of the network "Zero Waste - Reduce, Re-use, Recycle", which has been in existence since 2019, reflects the programme: the aim is to avoid unnecessary waste (Reduce), to establish reusable instead of disposable systems (Re-use) and to use recycled and recyclable materials (Recycle). Participation and an open exchange within the network helps to achieve the set goals much more effectively and quickly, as ideas are exchanged, practical implementations are presented and solutions for the future are worked out together. We are pleased when companies from the industry want to join the network. More about the project: https://www.hawe.com/company/csr/zero-waste/
