LICOS – The new generation of lifting columns

The new LICOS lifting column reliably controls stroke, trend, tilt and other functions in operating tables

The requirements for modern operating rooms have changed significantly in recent years. More and more operating tables are interacting with surgical robots and vice versa. In order to meet these requirements, HAWE Micro Fluid has developed the new generation of LICOS lifting columns in accordance with the DIN EN 60601-2-46 standard.

The LICOS lifting column moves the patient particularly gently and quietly while performing the movements quickly and powerfully. It is available in four models as standard - from the basic version LICOS 360 to LICOS 600 max. All versions are based on the same guide system and include the three basic movements lift, trend and tilt. In addition, the hydraulic system can be modularly extended by up to five further functions. This means that movements of the back and leg plate, table foot fixation and longitudinal displacement as well as the hydraulic adjustment of the 5th wheel and the kidney bridge can also be controlled. The LICOS 600 model has a three-stage telescopic column. This enables a stroke of 600 mm to be achieved with a low installation height of 438 mm. The maximum adjustment angle for Trend is 45° and 28° for Tilt. The lifting columns are supplied fully assembled, filled with oil, tested and therefore "plug & play"

The LICOS lifting column is used particularly in universal operating tables, which are also designed for use with surgical robots.

HAWE Micro Fluid is certified in accordance with the ISO 13485 quality standard. In total, over 50,000 lifting columns for operating tables in various versions have been delivered to customers worldwide for more than 25 years.
