Memory programmable control with read-only memory as program memory with content that, after successful programming, can only be changed by mechanical action in the controller (DIN 19 237).
The control with replaceable ROM can be equipped with memory that can be altered (read-only memory with content that can be changed several times) or with memory that cannot be altered (ROM, PROM).
