BAUER Maschinen GmbH has officially honored HAWE Hydraulik with the Supplier of the Year 2022 award.

Having the background of significantly improved profitability and balance sheet structure, HAWE Hydraulik SE has concluded a new syndicated loan agreement with a term of 5 years and a volume of EUR 130 million.

In July, the new HAWE Mattro location in Schwaz was officially opened. Around 60 participants attended the event, including customers from Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Austria, as well as partners, suppliers and several HAWE employees.

HAWE Hydraulik's new production and administration building in Wuxi (China) has been completed and is now gradually going into operation. Predominantly for the local market, the system solutions for key industries such as wind turbines, solar plants, machine tools and medical technology are developed and produced here. HAWE is thus merging its two existing production sites in China at one location with an area of approx. 26,000 m².

Bees pollinate plant flowers, collect nectar and thus make an important contribution to the environment. They are indispensable for maintaining the biodiversity of plants and animals. At HAWE Mattro GmbH in Austria, there have been young bee colonies since the end of May 2022, which ensure pollination of the surrounding areas. The bees at the Kaufbeuren site have meanwhile become accustomed to their surroundings.

The roadmap sounds ambitious: HAWE has set itself the goal of being climate neutral in Scope 1 and 2 throughout the Group by 2029 at the latest. The cross-plant sustainability team knows what that means and has clearly outlined the necessary steps. Since 2010, the company has been active in various energy efficiency and climate protection networks and is consistently trimming its own manufacturing and administrative areas at all HAWE sites for energy and resource efficiency.
