Dead zone compensation
Underlap compensating signal
Dead time
Time, which passes after the input signal is changed, without changing the output signal.
Dead volume
Volume that does not contribute to the system performance, but must be placed under pressure as the working cycle changes. The volume increase associated with this changes the natural frequency of the
Torque motor
Electro-mechanical , in which an electromagnetic armature moves in the magnetic field of two permanent magnets ( Figure T 14 ). If one side is activated, the magnet rotates in this field, which is tra
Low pass filter
Electronic switch, which transfers low frequencies unchanged, but at high frequencies, it triggers an amplified weakening of the signal and a phase lag ( Figure T 12 ).
Telescopic cylinder
Cylinder with two or more pistons (pull-outs) which enter into one another in a telescopic manner ( Figure T 8 ). The telescopic cylinder allows high strokes in small installation spaces (slightly lon
Telescopic connection
Arrangement of two pipes which are sealed off against one another and can be axially adjusted into one another. Telescopic connections are used with axially movable cylinders in place of hoses.
Indexing ratios when using flow dividers
When using flow dividers the division error of the smaller oil flow is multiplied by the indexing ratio, therefore in practical use, an indexing ratio of up to 4:1 is still reasonable.
Partial flow filtration
Arrangement of the Return line filter "in the secondary flow", i.e. the filter is placed parallel to a throttle so that only one part of the returning oil flow is filtered ( Figure T 7 ). This arrange
