HAWE Hydraulik continues its international growth and strengthens its presence in Turkey with its own subsidiary. At the beginning of the year, HAWE signed a capital participation agreement with BTC Otomasyon + Hidrolik, a supplier of components and systems in the fields of hydraulics and automation in Istanbul. The renaming is planned for the end of the year.
‘With the founding of this company, we want to offer our customers in Turkey customised solutions and operate even closer to the market,’ explains CEO Wolfgang Sochor. For several years, HAWE has been supplying world-leading manufacturers of press brakes in Turkey, as well as a wide variety of mobile applications, such as concrete pumps and mobile cranes.
Together with partner companies, HAWE will now be operating as a provider of comprehensive solutions for a wide range of industries in this growing market. In addition to selling HAWE components, the subsidiary in Turkey also develops and produces hydraulic systems with locally manufactured hydraulic blocks. This is how the hydraulics specialist is consistently implementing its ‘local for local’ strategy in the Turkish market.
