Negative-pulse control
pulse valve by purging (depressurising) the piloting line. Not used very often now, because switching may also occur in the event of an unintentional pressure drop.
Displacement V 2
displacement volume taken on by a hydraulic motor during a revolution ( set geometric displacement ). It may be constant or variable, depending on the motor construction type.
Piston pump
Hydraulic pump in which the pressure fluid is displaced by one or more pistons . Pistons may be arranged in a row or aligned radially or axially in relation to the drive shaft.
Monitoring
states. The variables to be monitored can be measured directly or may be the result of an evaluation (DIN 19 222). This monitoring may take the form of periodic inspections or ongoing observation. It is
Collective line
line includes the feed line and return line as well as the overflow oil line. In addition, there may also be control lines .
Geared pump/motor
Hydraulic pump/motor with two or more gears working together in one housing. They may take the form of an external geared pump/motor , an internal geared pump/motor or an annular gear pump/motor .
Bleed valve (Hy), exhaust valve (PN)
Device for removing undissolved air (gas) that may be carried in the hydraulic fluid in a hydraulic system . The valve must be fitted at the highest point in the system and can trigger automatically or
Churning losses
moving around inside. These are dependent on the rotation speed and — particularly during idling — may cause appreciable power losses ( idling losses ).
Position-dependent control signals
through to hall generators. However, optical switches (light barriers) and distance measuring systems may also issue position-dependent control signals.
Pressure gauge selection switch
pressure measuring points to a pressure gauge, assuming this is the preferred option. The pressure gauge may be installed in either the selection switch directly or in the system ( Figure M 2 ).
