Directional valves 2-way valves
Valves with two controlled ports: inlet and outlet. Examples: 2/2-way directional valves, 2-way flow control valve, amongst others
Controller settings
Adaptation of controller properties to the respective task by changing the control parameters with the aim of optimising the controller .
Continuous operating conditions
Are characterised by numerical values of the individual variables with which the system can be operated without interruption (CETOP RP 100).
Analogue measuring technology
variables using analogue measuring instruments. The measured value is represented continuously and with the correct magnitude.
Main valve
(Opposite of pilot valve). With pilot-controlled valves, the main valve is the actual working valve actuated by the pilot valve .
Filtration
To remove particles of dirt that the pressure fluid is carrying with the aid of filtration of a wide range of types.
Inhibitor
delays certain reactions in hydraulic fluids . It is used most commonly to counter processes associated with ageing and corrosion.
Fixed displacement motor
Hydraulic motor with constant displacement . Its variable rotation speed is determined solely by the (variable) pump or an upstream flow valve.
Continuous pressure
Constant pressure with which a device or a system can be loaded during the intended lifetime in defined operating conditions (DIN 24 312).
Two-position valve
Valve with two switching positions. In the case of the directional valves these are 2/2, 3/2 and 4/2 directional valves.
