Ball seated valve:
Directional or check valve with a freely moving ball as the blocking element. Excellent in terms of keeping designs simple, but is only suitable for small valve sizes.
2/2-way ball valve:
Shut-off valve (2/2-way, occasionally also a 3/2-way valve) with a ball as the rotating blocking element. Is available up to the largest nominal widths (Figure K 39).
Ball check valve:
Check valve which uses a ball as the blocking element.
