Munich, 14th September 2026 – With the new INKA 3 compact hydraulic power pack, HAWE Hydraulik is expanding its portfolio to include a powerful and flexible solution for industrial applications. Compared to the predecessor KA 2 model, the new size offers numerous improvements in terms of efficiency, digitalisation and integration capability.

One focus of the development was on digitalization and system monitoring. An integrated multi-sensor system is available that records fluid level and temperature. The sensors are attached to the outside of the hydraulic power pack and can be connected to the machine controls with switching outputs or optionally with IO-Link. INKA 3 thus supports modern automation concepts. Alternatively, the hydraulic power pack is also available without sensors.

By using a sub-oil motor, INKA 3 achieves a high power density with a compact design. Various motor types, including energy-efficient IE3 motors, are available as an option. Thanks to optimised bearings and revised shaft design, the hydraulic power pack also operates more quietly than the predecessor model KA 2.

INKA in size 3 can be equipped with a gear pump, radial piston pump and dual-stage pump. Depending on the version, operating pressures of up to 700 bar and volume flows of up to 23 l/min are possible. The maximum usable volume is 14 litres.

For easy system integration, the established HAWE valve assemblies as well as the new types CBA with standard connection pattern CETOP 3 and CVH, a directional seated valve bank, can be directly attached. Additional returns and various connection blocks expand the range of applications.

INKA 3 is particularly suitable for machine tools, presses, hydraulic tools, sawing machines, grinding machines and wind turbines. With its higher usable volume, intelligent sensor technology and compact design, the compact hydraulic power pack offers a future-proof solution for demanding hydraulic applications.

The INKA 3 compact unit will be on display for the first time from September 15 to 19, 2026, at the AMB in Stuttgart. Visit HAWE Hydraulik at Booth 8C71.

The essentials at a glance

  • 20% more usable volume with the same fill volume compared to the predecessor model KA 2
  • Low noise thanks to optimized bearing and shaft design
  • Intelligent sensors for fluid level and temperature with switching outputs or optionally with IO-Link for direct integration into the machine controls
  • Adaptable for a wide range of applications thanks to upright or horizontal installation, individually adjustable tank lengths and a wide range of valve and connection options
