HAWE Hydraulik's new production and administration building in Wuxi (China) has been completed and is now gradually going into operation. Predominantly for the local market, the system solutions for key industries such as wind turbines, solar plants, machine tools and medical technology are developed and produced here. HAWE is thus merging its two existing production sites in China at one location with an area of approx. 26,000 m².
The approx. 200 employees at the new Wuxi site work in state-of-the-art production and office areas. The design of the production areas, a Bavarian-style canteen and generous green spaces demonstrate the close ties to the headquarters in Aschheim/Munich. In times of the worldwide Corona pandemic, the successful completion of the project was a special milestone for everyone. Thanks to online meetings and a very committed team on site, the construction was completed with only a slight delay and within budget. Next steps also include energy and environmental management as well as occupational health and safety at this HAWE site.
