Binary control

A control for signal processing that operates predominantly with binary signals in which the binary signals are not an element of the numerical information displayed.

The binary control predominantly processes binary input signals using operators, time and storage elements to form binary output signals (DIN 19 237).

Binary controls can be roughly divided into logic control systems and sequence control systems (Figure B 16).
