Matthias - Head of Assembly Department

I started my apprenticeship as a mechanical engineer at HAWE in Freising in 1999. Afterwards, I was taken on directly as a machine operator in block processing. After my further training to become an industrial foreman in metal, I switched to the area of block finishing in 2012 and worked there as a production planner. My tasks included optimizing production processes with a focus on lean management and the 5S method.

From 2018, I worked in Aschheim, our headquarters, and as an industrial engineering project manager I developed, among other things, risk management for production plants and inventory-managed plant spare parts management for maintenance. I then returned to Freising in 2019 as segment manager for building and operating technology and took over its personnel responsibility. I also volunteered for twelve years as a member of the works council and various committees. Since 2021, I have been responsible as department head for assembly with around 100 employees.
