Orbit motor

Special form of annular gear motor whereby the outer ring with its seven teeth remains still, while the inner wheel with its six teeth performs a planetary-type movement. As a result, a volume associated with 6 → 7 = 42 gaps between teeth is displaced during one revolution, which generates very high torque for gear motors (Figure O 9).
