PDU – Power Distribution Units

Product description

The Power Distribution Unit PDU is used to connect up to 4 or up to 8 batteries in a parallel circuit and connect them to an electrical drive system. Up to 5 or up to 10 outputs are available for the consumers in the electrical system.

In the Power Distribution Unit PDU, one or more batteries is/are connected in parallel and the lines are routed via safety fuses with individually configurable fuse values.

The electrical power is distributed via one positive and one negative busbar in each case. The optionally installed Battery Control Unit (BCU) takes over the management of the parallel batteries and serves as a communication interface between the batteries and the drive system.
