States the point in time, at which the flow resistance of a filter element has reached the permissible value due to the increasing absorption of contamination.
A visual display of contamination is possible through the use of an emerging pin, but this requires careful observation (Figure V 17). Electrical displays using lamps or acoustic signals are better preferable.
