Pressure required to start or maintain the function of a valve (device). The control pressure can be, but does not necessarily have to be, identical to the pressure in the system.
A differentiation is made between:
Minimum control pressure:
Minimum necessary control pressure, at which the device works safely.
Maximum control pressure:
Maximum permitted control pressure, but not higher than the nominal pressure of the system.
