The compact hydraulic power packs from HAWE Hydraulik SE, Munich, meet the technical requirements of the automotive industry. Some of them already announced the official approval for use in machine tools designed for automotive industry. By fine-tuning the power pack to on-off mode it lowers the energy uptake of the machine tool's hydraulic system by up to 80% compared to systems using standard market products.
Manufacturers that supply machine tools and machining centers in the automotive industry can incorporate the proven compact units in their machines. In line with the car manufacturers' job specifications, the temperature and level monitor as well as the filter's pollution control are fitted with an early warning function. Thus, necessary interventions are signaled early on to the machine operator so that he can implement these in the scheduled down-times, thereby increasing the availability of the machines.
The hardware interfaces comply with the car manufacturers' requirements. The power pack comes with a Harting-plug that connects quickly with the machine tool. The sensors are connected via M12-plugs. The filler neck comes with the filling port customary in the automotive industry to guarantee oil purity, as the oil can only be supplied via a corresponding filter system. Handling is easy, swift and clean.
HAWE's application specialists have fine-tuned the power pack to on-off mode. In this operating mode it lowers the energy uptake of the machine tool's hydraulic system by up to 80% compared to systems using standard market products. For on-off mode the power pack is fitted with nominal size 6 (Cetop 3) zero-leakage seated valves, type NBVP, as well as a pressure accumulator.
The power pack HK is equally suited for continuous operation. So it has adequate power reserves to increase the machine cycle times or to compensate internal leakages.
