HAWE Hydraulik is still here for you!

HAWE Hydraulik established an internal crisis management team in which various specialized areas of the company are represented. On a daily basis, we very carefully observe and evaluate the current developments around the coronavirus worldwide. Measures are then implemented to protect our employees and business partners. These are regularly reviewed for their effectiveness and adapted to current requirements. The most important goals are: To stay healthy and maintain the ability to supply our customers.

We currently produce and deliver without restrictions.

HAWE Hydraulik has been paying attention to stable supply chains and a high vertical range of manufacture for a very long time. This is how you can benefit in our current situation. In addition, we have implemented various measures to protect our employees in the HAWE plants, such as staggered shifts, strict distance and comprehensive hygiene rules. In the administrative areas, we were able to achieve a very high home office quota early on.

Stay in contact with us.

The HAWE employees in sales, purchasing and customer service are very well prepared and have various tools at their disposal to offer online meetings and product presentations. All telephone and email contacts are available as usual at all HAWE locations worldwide. Let us overcome our current situation together. Maybe we can discover new communication channels with advantages for the future! HAWE is currently declining to participate in trade fairs and personal meetings in order to protect all parties involved.

Further, selected measures at HAWE:

Communication

HAWE employees use all available online media for external communication. In addition to the usual telephone consultation, we have increased our use of online product presentations, video conferences and webinars with our business partners. The digital internal communication informs all employees daily about news from all corporate divisions.

Hygiene rules

The hygiene measures recommended by the Robert Koch-Institute and the company medical service are communicated regularly and compliance is monitored. These include, among other things, the familiar rules such as keeping the required distance, hand hygiene, coughing and sneezing etiquette, no showing up at work if symptoms of illness occur and wearing a mouth guard. At the same time, more intensive cleaning measures are being carried out at all locations.

Production

An increase in the distance between employees at the workplaces in production and assembly was implemented where possible by changing shifts, staggering break times and longer intervals for shift changes. The same employees always work in a team. Job rotation, which is common and popular in production and assembly, has been temporarily suspended.

Administration

Through a regulated home office quota and changing staffing in the offices, we create the conditions in the administration for good accessibility while at the same time adhering to contact and distance rules. The risk of infection on the way to work should also be minimized.

Information

Customers and business partners are informed individually and promptly about changes in the current delivery performance.

Travelling

In accordance with the recommendations of the Federal Government and the Foreign Office we recommend our employees to refrain from all non-urgent business trips within Germany and North America. International business trips have been temporarily suspended. We also advise that private travel should be reduced as much as possible.
