HAWE North America donates to Toys for Tots

On December 2nd, HAWE Cares started our annual Toys for Tots drive which helps spread some joy in the lives of some less fortunate children in our local communities.  HAWE Hydraulik employees from our Charlotte location donated over 30 new unopened toys for children up to 12 years of age. 

This year, the HAWE Cares Committee completed the steps to make HAWE Charlotte an official local Tots Campaign location, which means we could accept donations from anyone until Friday, December 9th.  We were more than happy to share this news with our neighbors’. 


HAWE supports a initiative by UNICEF

HAWE Hydraulik supports UNICEF in the initiative "Turning trash into building blocks for children's future" in Côte d'Ivoire. In this project, UNICEF is working with the Colombian company "Conceptos Plásticos" to develop a recycling market that converts plastic waste into durable and cost-effective building materials. These in turn are used to create new classrooms for the children there, who are currently unable to attend school due to a lack of space.


Zero Plastics - Project and Network

Started as an internal project "Zero Plastics" at HAWE Hydraulik, interested companies will exchange concrete measures and future ideas for the avoidance of disposable plastics in a regular network meeting. A very concrete contribution to the topic of environmental protection.


Supervisory Board expanded

At HAWE Hydraulik SE's Annual General Meeting on June 27, the Supervisory Board was re-elected as scheduled. New members of the Supervisory Board are Jurate Keblyte, Dr. Ansgar Kriwet and Karl Haeusgen, who resigned from the HAWE Board of Management.


Haeusgen moves to the Supervisory Board

Karl Haeusgen was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HAWE Hydraulik SE on June 28, 2019. Robert Schullan, who has been responsible for Market Relationship Management since 2018, will be the new CEO in the four-member HAWE Management Board team.


HAWE strengthens electronics competence with Mattro

The HAWE Hydraulik Group, Aschheim/Munich, has taken over all employees and the main assets of the insolvent Mattro Group in Schwaz/Austria on 17 May 2019. Together with Mattro executives, the new Mattro GmbH is founded, in which HAWE Hydraulik holds the majority of the shares.
